Retail Display at the Nada Farm Barn Sale

Anne Marie, Polly , Angela, and I welcome you to the Nada Farm barn sale. On Anne Marie’s farm in her barn, we styled and created a lace you can come and shop with vintage goods, handmade and more.  When you first approach, you can see the curtains across vintage porch columns.
White curtains frame an outdoor rustic seating area with wooden chairs, a hay bale, shelves with decor, and a view of open land in the background.
There was a huge line to get in and it was so exciting to see other people as excited as we were. The cars lined the street for almost a half mile. This was even better than the last Nada Farm sale!

Several women walk through a white fabric-draped outdoor entrance, with fields and parked cars visible in the background.

The entry way was styled with vintage furniture, and lots of art by me and old photos.

A small room with vintage furniture, framed art and maps on the walls, a chandelier, and various decorative antique objects arranged throughout.

The  deconstructed old chairs really set the tone. We had a story that went long with the sale about an imaginary person named “Bridgette” and her home.

A rustic art studio filled with paintings, wooden furniture, dried plants, and various art supplies, illuminated by warm, decorative lighting.
The first space you encounter is the conservatory. It’s filled with all kinds of art and paintings.
Art studio with paintings on easels, brushes, and various art supplies scattered around; a person stands in the background among shelves and decorations.
Moving on next is The Pantry.  Styled with vintage housewares, crystal, silver and more.

A cluttered wooden room filled with vintage kitchenware, a white chair, shelves of dishes, tins, old utensils, and dried flowers, all arranged in a rustic, eclectic style.

It was my idea to hand the vintage chairs as shelves on the old barn door. It was so impactful visually.
A display of vintage furniture and decor, including chairs mounted on a wooden wall, a typewriter, mirrors, lamps, and various antiques arranged in a rustic setting.
The fireplace was filled with handmade goods.
Rustic wooden mantel decorated with lit candles, small stockings, burlap art, and dried corn stalks; firewood stacked below and tableware visible in the foreground.
Tracey from French Larkspur came to document the event.
A woman in a beige shirt stands indoors, smiling at the camera and holding a DSLR camera in her right hand. The background features wooden walls and various vintage objects.
There were such amazing little touches of delight all around. Even little things like this garland if vintage chandelier crystal hanging.
Clear glass prisms hang from a twine string in the foreground, with blurred shelves and assorted home decor items visible in the background.

And clothing that was hand sewn or remade into something new. everything just felt so special.

A rustic room with vintage-style clothing on hangers, mannequins, and racks, set against wooden walls and a corrugated metal roof.

The rest of the barn had special styling too. Even my franken-pumpkins had a place of honor.
A round table with burlap, pumpkins, candles, and glassware is set in a rustic setting with hay on the floor and wooden chairs surrounding it.

I love how the cut wood creates a rustic ambiance on the table.

A rustic wooden table with white runners is decorated with candles, glass jars, logs, a white pumpkin, and small ornaments in a barn setting with a chalkboard in the background.

A vintage typewriter with waxed book pages also created something so interesting to look at.
A vintage Underwood typewriter sits on a table beside old papers, a pocket watch, and various antique items.

A metal tub filled with wrapped soaps, herbs, and foliage, accompanied by handwritten tags and a printed recipe or instructions on paper in the background.

A rustic shop interior with vintage furniture, shelves displaying white china, straw on the floor, and large pumpkins scattered around.

It was a fun, crazy, and wonderful time! And thank you to Tracey for taking the pictures for us that we were too busy to take. I know a lot of the shots seems different because as people shopped we were constantly resetting! Including a complete reset for the second day. It was like coming to an entirely new sale!
