Oak Leaf Inspired Vignette and Oak Leaf Printable
Are you feeling the fall weather yet? Even though it’s 85 degrees here, I am in the fall mood! I’ve still be holding back from buying that first pumpkin spice latte, but I have certainly been starting to transition my decor with an Oak leaf inspired vignette and Oak leaf printable.
This fall/vignette party Kristen is hosting seemed like the perfect time to start making a transition. I love Oak trees and acorns. I made this fun oak leaf banner out of a plaid shirt. They feel very”fall ” to me. I thought it would make a nice part of a autumn vignette. I made a copy of it because I didn’t want to ruin my original antique print. You can’t replace those. I glued it onto a burlap covered canvas
As a final touch, I cut and glued rope around the edges of the Oak leaf print to make it look more finished.
I have a little oak tree in the side yard that I borrowed a little spring of leaves from and put them in a vintage bottle.
I also dug through my letterpress blocks and found three to spell out oak.
I like the small modern touch the bit of gold brings to the back. It a nice pop.
A little ceramic pumpkin on a vintage book adds some nice balance too! The original oak leaf printable has been removed, but I have another one from The Graphics Fairy below.

Love the print! So gorgeous!! And I love the added leaves from the outdoors in your vignette. I’ve been doing the same thing recently and it’s so nice to bring the outdoors in and add to the decor for free!!
