The Vintage Market

Here are some quick pictures from Polly’s yesterday before I head out the door this morning at the Vintage Market. it was so amazing to be around such inspiring makers and beautiful displays! When you walk in the door it’s inspiring from the welcoming chalkboard!
A chalkboard sign reads "Sunny... with a chance of Burlap & Lace!!" above a vintage market-inspired display of faux moss rocks, burlap, feathers, and a green bird model on a wooden stand.

This was such a cute way to welcome people in! I love how they used an old playset to create a beautiful sign for the Vintage Market. It’s so creative!
A charming vintage market booth with black and white striped curtains stands in front of a white house, its sign inviting shoppers beneath the shade of a nearby tree.
It was so exciting that there was a line out the door before it even opened!
A group of people stands in line outside a house on a sunny day for a vintage market; a woman in the foreground holds a camera near a garden statue of a rabbit.
Polly’s home is pretty gorgeous on it’s own and it made everything look even better! A great display is everything when it comes to a store or market.

This cabinet is to die for and made a great place to display vintage items for sale.

A vintage wooden display cabinet with glass doors and shelves, perfect for showcasing decorative items like baskets, jars, metal containers, and small ornaments—a charming find for any vintage market enthusiast.

There were so many great vintage items, it was hard to not shop myself.

A cozy shop interior inspired by a vintage market, featuring rustic home decor items, wooden furniture, framed art, and various trinkets arranged on tables and shelves under a chandelier.
I loved the way the wood shelves were used to create cubbies for the item. The tree branches from the ceiling made a great eye catching design.
A vintage shop interior reminiscent of a vintage market, with shelves, lace curtains, decorative blocks, handmade crafts, and various rustic items displayed throughout the space.

There as so much to see and look at! There were lots of handmade pillows, and furniture items such as vintage settees, and I adore the dress form with the vintage books pages for a skirt! I have a thing for vintage book pages!

A boutique interior inspired by a vintage market displays vintage-style dresses, decorative pillows, and various home decor items on wooden floors under hanging lights.

And these garlands made of vintage book pages are pretty amazing too!

A vintage-style room with a mannequin in a white dress, a dresser adorned like a vintage market display with jewelry and decor, and a woman reflected in a mirror, surrounded by paper garlands and soft lighting.

And  What a clever use of glass doors for display! I love how they separate the room but you can see through them to see the goodies on the other side! So brilliant! The pillows are so cleverly displayed on the church pew. I  can see how double duty in display is an awesome thing! Sell the bench and the pillows.

It’s such a great vintage market! I hope you’ll stop by and shop with us!

  2. Oh my goodness!!! I just came across your blog – and am soon hoping to spend hours here!!! I loved your post about getting inspired by God, and everything else you have written that I have had a chance to read so far! I will be back shortly – but HAD to ask – did you make those neat swags with the book pages? Do you tell anywhere how you made them? I LOVE them, and having tons of old books from my in-laws estate, and not being able to throw them out – I LOVED this idea! (I have a whole file on pinterest about what to do with old sheet music!) – Can’t wait to visit again!!!

Hugs from Michigan – Diane (Vruwink) Carlson
