Taking big steps means taking big risks. For the first time, with a good friend’s urging, I’ve decided to release everything as the collection Found and Made on Etsy in my shop.

Everything in the collection either has been hand-made by me, is vintage and/or has a vintage element. I’ve even changed my etsy store address to my own name and closed my other store. it’s super exciting with some really big steps! I’ve spent hours working on things just for you after the kiddos go to bed. it’s such a labor of love I don’t even mind if I’m a little tired in the morning. I may feel a little tired, but I’m also really, really excited to keep working on things.

I wanted to put something out that I was proud of and that was completely me. Something I would wear everyday or have in my home. I loved being able to crochet a beautiful hat or sew clothing someone would love. The top was so fun to mix up the masculine fabric with the softness of the sweater.

It’s kind of scary to put yourself out there, but so rewarding doing it. And it is so much more fulfilling to actually just create with purpose. I hope you love it as much I as I do. It was even more fun to style and create little vignettes with all of the items and create a style for the collection.

  29. Oh wow! I’m adoring the vintage milk carrier with old bottles. My fav! However, the necklaces are gorgeous, too. Really, love it all. And the name is perfect.

  82. What do I think? I think it is AWESOME and a fabulous idea. I am loving these “collections” because I think it is possible to see the entire style of work a person does. And I am loving yours. Of course, much has been sold since I came a day late to the party (this darn day job!)BUT I am still adoring the santos/cage dolls. Love love love them. And the necklaces made out of watches. And the upcycled sweaters- which may inspire me to get out my serger and redo some of these sweaters that must have shrunken this year 😛 Bien fait, mon amie.
