Botanical art is a style that transcends not only time but many many styles. Botanical and flower art can cross over from anything from a cottage style to even decorate the walls of a more modern home. A few years ago I created a collection called Sparrow and Blossom and one of my favorite part so that collection was all of the botanical imagery and I had used these botanical prints from a book I had found in an old shop last year for my spring line lookbook. There’s something about bringing nature indoors through art that just feels good. I wanted to share with you some DIY botanical art projects that you could make for your own home and bring some nature inside.
Pressed flowers are always a favorite with botanical art and people are doing some really creative things with them. I love how these dried, pressed flowers really embellish a vintage picture and take it up an entire level.
