Plaster Casting Workshop at Urban Farmgirl’s Main Street Market
HI everyone! I am excited to announce I am going to be teaching a class at Urban Farmgirl’s Main Street Market in Rockford, IL! We’ll take small objects like vintage pieces and rubber stamps and I’ll show you how to cast them in plaster and make them into jewelry. I am excited for this plaster casting workshop. It’s just fun to see how your treasure turns out. And this is a project any one can do, and it’s a great way to reproduce small pieces and make something unique!
I am so excited to be teaching this workshop and there has already been such a great response! I taught a jewelry workshop in my home where we took old jewelry we had laying around and re-imagined it to make new and beautiful wearable pieces. It’s really like wearable art. and it was so much fun. I know in this amazing setting of the barn, the workshop is going to be even more fun. The entire grounds are so beautiful and hopefully we’ll have a really nice weather day so it’s even more amazing. I can’t wait to see what beautiful pieces everyone creates! Courtney Walsh is also teaching a fun class, she is a talented author and the nicest person ever! It’s so close to Mother’s Day, you could bring Mom for a day of shopping and art classes in a beautiful setting!!!
I hope you’ll join us for a fun day. Just reach out to me to register for the workshop and we’ll send you an invoice. It’s at 11:30 so you have time to wander around and shop first. All of the materials to create your wearable work of art will be provided and all of the clean up will be on me, so just show up for this plaster casting workshop and enjoy yourself and make something beautiful!
Check out this project with casting for something fun!
